ARTIST JOURNEY
A journey of artistic growth & botanical education. Dr. Costello completed The Society of Botanical Artists’ distance learning program in the UK, a 2.5 year immersive experience in botany and the fine art of European traditions of botanical illustration. A student among botanical enthusiasts in the prestigious program, she is sharing her experience and passion as she continues to expand her love for this treasured art form, honoring distinct art traditions and techniques to capture the vibrant essence and accuracy of the plant world, in hopes of one day becoming a fellow herself.
